Transmission and Distribution Utilities segment is engaged in the transmission and distribution of electricity for sale to retail and wholesale customers. AEP Transmission Holdco segment is engaged in the development, construction, and operation of transmission facilities. Generation & Marketing segment conducts marketing, risk management and retail activities. It is also an electricity producer with nearly 29,000 megawatts (MW) of generating capacity, including about 6,000 MW of renewable energy.
