Brazil Supreme Court justice Moraes requests Bolsonaro's trial to be scheduled
BRASILIA, Aug 14 (Reuters) - Brazilian Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes asked the president of the panel he is part of within the court to schedule the trial of former President Jair Bolsonaro, a court document showed on Thursday.
Moraes, who is overseeing the case at which Bolsonaro is accused of plotting a coup, sent the request to Justice Cristiano Zanin. Bolsonaro denies the accusations.
