Ukraine discusses $1.4 billion DFC loan to restore gas production sites

KYIV, March 24 (Reuters) - Ukrainian Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal has discussed with U.S. counterpart Chris Wright a possible $1.4 billion loan from the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation to restore energy facilities at Ukraine's gas production sites, he said on Tuesday in a post on Telegram.

Ukraine is seeking international assistance to restore its energy system after a winter of Russian missile and drone strikes.
