FAA seeks company to lead building of new US air traffic control system
June 3 (Reuters) - The Federal Aviation Administration has issued a request for information looking for a company to build a "brand new, state-of-the-art" air traffic control system, the U.S. Department of Transportation said in a statement on Tuesday.
"We have an antiquated air traffic control system that is showing its age,” Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said. “In order to implement President Trump and I's plan for a brand new system, we need the technical expertise and management experience from the best innovators in the world.”
