Emerson Electric up after Q2 beat, lifting annual outlook

Shares of engineering solutions provider Emerson Electric EMR.N rise 3% to $110.50 premarket

EMR raised its full-year underlying earnings outlook, citing strong demand for its automation services and products that drove Q2 profit ahead of estimates

Now expects full-year adj. EPS between $5.90 and $6.05, compared with its previous range of $5.85 and $6.05

Also, hikes forecast for 2025 net sales growth to about 4% from its prior expectation of growth between 1.5% and 3.5%

Q2 adj EPS of $1.48 beat analysts' average expectation of $1.41

Net sales of $4.43 billion also beat the Street view of $4.38 billion.

As of last close, stock had fallen 13.4% YTD
