** X and Nippon Steel 5401.T have filed a lawsuit against U.S. President Joe Biden's order that blocked Nippon's $14.9 billion buyout of X
** The companies filed a second lawsuit against Cleveland-Cliffs CLF.N, its CEO, Lourenco Goncalves, and USW union president David McCall "for their illegal and coordinated actions" aimed at preventing the deal
** X was down 30% in 2024
