Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 1.06%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Harel (TASE:HARL), which rose 2.82% or 97.00 points to trade at 3,541.00 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) added 2.78% or 183.00 points to end at 6,762.00 and Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) was up 2.49% or 730.00 points to 29,990.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which lost 0.80% or 220.00 points to trade at 27,390.00 in late trade. Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) declined 0.77% or 310.00 points to end at 40,000.00 and OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) shed 0.65% or 19.00 points to 2,889.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 301 to 144 and 94 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 2.38% or 1.60 to $68.91 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 2.01% or 1.42 to hit $72.03 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.47% or 37.25 to trade at $2,579.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 1.25% to 3.72, while EUR/ILS fell 1.03% to 4.11.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 101.57.
