Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Financials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 0.44%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Adaro Minerals Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:ADMR), which fell 0.39% or 5.00 points to trade at 1,275.00 at the close. Maha Properti Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:MPRO) added 1,090.91% or 1,200.00 points to end at 1,310.00 and Pelita Teknologi Global PT Tbk (JK:CHIP) was up 790.63% or 1,265.00 points to 1,425.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Equity Development Investment (JK:GSMF), which lost 99.39% or 8,448.00 points to trade at 52.00 in late trade. Indo Acidatama Tbk (JK:SRSN) declined 98.51% or 3,448.00 points to end at 52.00 and Surya Toto Indonesia Tbk (JK:TOTO) shed 98.43% or 14,076.00 points to 224.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 432 to 272 and 129 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.55% or 0.39 to $69.95 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.45% or 0.33 to hit $73.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.52% or 13.20 to trade at $2,509.80 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.18% to 15,509.55, while AUD/IDR fell 0.17% to 10,409.64.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 101.58.
