Iraq tells France it arrested perpetrators behind drone attack that killed French soldier

CAIRO, April 8 (Reuters) - Iraq's Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani told French President Emmanuel Macron that authorities arrested perpetrators behind a drone attack in March that killed a French soldier in Erbil, according to a statement by the Iraqi prime minister's office.

One French soldier was killed and six others were wounded after a drone attack in northern Iraq, where they were providing counter-terrorism training.
