Hungary to purchase up to 10 US small modular reactors, Vance's office says

April 8 (Reuters) - The United States has agreed to support an engineering study to facilitate the deployment of new small modular reactors in Hungary, Vice President JD Vance's office said on Wednesday following his visit to Budapest.

The study will allow Hungary to move forward with the purchase and construction of up to 10 small modular reactors, the statement said.
