SEOUL, March 13 (Reuters) - South Korea's prime minister's office said on Friday that U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance welcomed the passage of a special bill enabling Seoul to implement its pledge to invest $350 billion in the United States under a bilateral trade deal, Yonhap News Agency reported.
The comment came as Prime Minister Kim Min-seok met Vance in Washington for talks on bilateral relations, hours after South Korea's parliament approved the legislation tied to the investment commitment on Thursday, according to local media.
