Top U.S. general: Would look at options if tasked to escort ships in Strait of Hormuz

WASHINGTON, March 10 (Reuters) - The top U.S. general said on Tuesday that the U.S. military would look at a range of options if it was tasked with escorting ships through the Strait of Hormuz.

"If tasked to escort, you know, we'll look at the range of options to set the military conditions to be able to do that," General Dan Caine, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, told reporters.
