March 4 (Reuters) - Former HF Sinclair DINO.N CEO Tim Go resigned from chemical maker Celanese's CE.N board of directors late last month, Celanese said on Wednesday, amid a disclosure review at the U.S. refiner.
HF Sinclair said in February that Go requested a leave of absence amid an internal review of the company's disclosure processes. Board Chair Franklin Myers had stepped in as temporary CEO.
Celanese said the resignation of Go, who joined the chemical makers board in February 2024, was not the result of any disagreement with the company.
CFO Atanas Atanasov also took a voluntary leave of absence the following week amid concerns raised by the refiner's audit committee, a filing showed last month.
HF Sinclair began an assessment of matters relating to its disclosure process in January after Atanasov raised concerns about Go's actions affecting the "tone at the top" regarding the 2025 disclosure processes.
At the review, the board raised separate concerns about Go's approach in some communications to management during the disclosure processes.
