Feb 26 (Reuters) - Qantas Airways QAN.AX CEO Vanessa Hudson said on Thursday that demand weakness on the Australian carrier's U.S. routes was viewed as a short-term issue.
She told analysts on an earnings call that she was optimistic about an improvement on the routes in the second half of the financial year ending June 30 because the Australian dollar has strengthened and is now above 70 U.S. cents.
