BEIJING, Aug 8 (Reuters) - Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corp (SMIC) co-CEO Zhao Haijun said U.S. President Donald Trump's tariff policy had not resulted in the "hard landing" that China's top foundry was initially worried about, during an earnings call on Friday.
Despite forecasting a slowdown in rush orders and pulled-in shipments in the fourth quarter, Zhao said that production capacity remains insufficient and would remain tight until October.
