EU spokesperson: A negotiated outcome on trade with the US "within reach"

BRUSSELS, July 24 (Reuters) - The European Union is continuing intensive talks on trade and tariffs with the United states and believes that a negotiated outcome is within reach, an European Commission spokesperson said on Thursday.
"The EU continues to engage intensively with the US on tariffs ... our focus is on finding a negotiated outcome with the US... we believe such an outcome is within reach," the spokesperson said in response to reporters' questions.
