Thailand will not back down on U.S trade talks, says finance minister

BANGKOK, July 8 (Reuters) - Thailand will not back down in trade negotiations with the United States, Finance Minister Pichai Chunhavajira said on Tuesday.
"The United States has not considered our most recent proposal," Pichai said on X after the U.S, Thailand's largest export market, announced a 36% tariff rate.
