Putin, Trump discuss Ukraine, Iran in phone call, Kremlin's aide says
MOSCOW, June 4 (Reuters) - Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the conflict in Ukraine during a phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump, Kremlin foreign policy aide Yuri Ushakov said on Wednesday.
According to Ushakov, the conversation focused on recent Ukrainian attacks on Russian civilians and the second round of Russia-Ukraine negotiations.
The leaders also touched on Iran, with Trump expressing the view that Russia's cooperation was essential in addressing the issue, Ushakov said.
