Travelers Cos strikes $2.4 billion deal to sell majority of its Canada insurance business
May 27 (Reuters) - Travelers Cos TRV.N said on Tuesday it has agreed to sell its Canadian personal insurance business and a majority of its commercial insurance operations in the country to Definity Financial DFY.TO in a deal valued at $2.4 billion.
