Ukraine air force says Russia launched bombs on Sumy region

KYIV, May 9 (Reuters) - Ukraine's air force said in a post on messaging platform Telegram on Friday that Russian aircraft had launched guided bombs on the Sumy region of northern Ukraine.
Reuters could not independently verify the bombs had been launched. Russia announced a three-day ceasefire starting from Thursday morning, but both sides have accused each other of fighting on regardless.
