
May 9 (Reuters) - Greece's annual EU-harmonised inflation slowed to 2.6% in April from 3.1% in March, data showed on Friday.
Month-on-month consumer inflation rose by 0.5%
The cost of food and non-alcoholic beverages rose 2.1% year-on-year in April, with prices in hotels, cafes and restaurants going up 5.9%, the data showed.
EU-harmonised inflation is an index of components that is used across the EU to measure inflation in a consistent way.
Official statistics service ELSTAT also reported that headline consumer inflation in April dropped to 2.0% from 2.4% in March.
