BRUSSELS, April 8 (Reuters) - European Union's foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas said on Wednesday the uncertainty remains in the Gulf region even though the two-week ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran is a relief.
The current crisis has shown there is a need for a "stronger EU-Gulf partnership including on security and defence cooperation," she said after a meeting in Riyadh with the Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and the Secretary General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, Jasem Albudaiwi.
