Austrian strategic gas and oil reserves are well stocked, says Chancellor

BERLIN, April 8 (Reuters) - Austria's strategic gas and oil reserves are well stocked, Chancellor Christian Stocker said on X on Wednesday, adding his government was taking steps to ensure the country was ready for any scenario after the U.S. and Iran agreed a ceasefire.

"We cannot influence how long the ceasefire will last. But we can influence how we respond to this uncertain situation. And Austria is well prepared for that. Our strategic gas and oil reserves are well stocked," he said.
