LONDON, June 4 (Reuters) - Northwest European gasoline profit margins slipped by 76 cents to $15.32 a barrel on Wednesday as a larger-than-expected rise in U.S. inventories weighed.
A total of 7,000 metric tons of Eurobob E5 barges traded in the Argus window, with Varo, Shell and TotalEnergies selling to Trafigura, BP and BMV.
A further 20,000 tons of Eurobob E10 barges traded, with Shell and Gunvor selling to BP, Varo and MB Energy.
U.S. gasoline stocks USOILG=ECI rose by 5.2 million barrels last week to 228.3 million barrels, the Energy Information Administration said, compared with analysts' expectations in a Reuters poll for a 600,000-barrel build.
BP BP.L restarted a crude distillation unit at its Rotterdam oil refinery on the morning of June 4, having shut the 200,000 barrels per day (bpd) unit because of an unplanned outage the previous day, a trading source said quoting consultancy Wood Mackenzie.
BP had shut another 200,000 bpd crude unit at the refinery on May 1, while planned works at the unit were expected to start in April, Wood Mackenzie said on Tuesday.
EU and UK gasoline and blending component exports to other regions reached 1.09 million barrels per day (bpd) in May, down from 1.13 million bpd in April, Kpler data showed.
