China ready to strengthen dialogue on rare earths export controls
BEIJING, May 30 (Reuters) - China said it remains committed to keeping global industrial and supply chains stable, and is ready to strengthen dialogue and cooperation over its export controls on rare earths.
When asked about those export control measures, foreign ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said China's restrictions comply with international common practices.
The New York Times reported earlier this week that the United States has suspended some sales of critical technologies to China, in response to China's recent restriction on exports of critical minerals to the U.S.
