REFILE-Starwind names Jenks new JH Blades leader following Martin’s retirement

May 21 - (The Insurer) - Starwind Specialty Insurance Services has named Graham Jenks as the new leader of its marine and energy-focused MGU JH Blades, with the appointment coming in the wake of longtime chief Richard Martin’s retirement.

The leadership transition was effective March 1, 2025, and sees Jenks assume oversight for the MGU’s entire operations, which encompasses JH Blades Energy, JH Blades Marine, Southern Marine and Energy Technical Underwriters.

Jenks has taken on the JH Blades leadership role having spent the past eight years as president of Southern Marine.

Martin’s retirement brings an end his long association with JH Blades, having first taken on leadership of the business in the late 1990s.
