The Company owns, operates, acquires, renovates, develops, redevelops, and manages apartment communities in targeted markets located in the United States. The Company operates in two segments: Same-Store Communities and Non-Mature Communities/Other. The Same-Store Communities segment represent those communities acquired, developed, and stabilized. The Non-Mature Communities/Other segments represent those communities that do not meet the criteria to be included in Same-Store Communities, including, but not limited to acquired, developed and redeveloped communities, and the non-apartment components of mixed-use properties. The Company owns or has an ownership position in approximately 60,120 apartment homes. Its Baltimore apartments include Domain Brewers Hill, The Quarters at Towson Town Center, 20 Lambourne, Towson Promenade, 1274 at Towson, Rodgers Forge, and Calvert's Walk.
