Marzetti Q4 FY2026 Earnings: Cost Savings Lift Gross Margin as Sales Decline
The Marzetti Company’s fiscal Q4 2026 net sales fell 2.2% to $465.0 million, although adjusted sales excluding prior-year temporary supply agreement revenue rose 0.4%. Diluted EPS increased to $1.76 from $1.18, and adjusted diluted EPS grew 9.0% to $1.46. Cost-saving programs lifted gross margin 220 basis points to 24.5%, while an $18.5 million property-sale gain boosted GAAP profit. Bachan’s contributed $15.4 million to Retail sales, helping offset softer legacy retail demand, as core Foodservice sales remained nearly flat and acquisition-related costs increased.
