- STOCKS:

The benchmark BSE Sensex .BSESN rose 3.78% to 77,440, while the broader NSE Nifty 50 index .NSEI advanced 3.65% to 23,968, tracking a global rally as crude oil prices fell sharply after U.S. President Donald Trump agreed to a two-week ceasefire with Iran. .BO

RUPEE:

The Indian rupee INR=IN rose 0.44% versus the U.S. dollar to 92.5975, while forward premiums extended their slide and volatility expectations fell on the back of a plunge in oil prices and upbeat risk appetite following the Middle East ceasefire. INR/

GOVERNMENT BONDS:

The benchmark 10-year bond IN064835G=CC was quoted at 97.01 rupees, with the yield down 13 bps at 6.9147%, as oil prices plunged below $100 a barrel after the U.S. agreed to a two-week ceasefire with Iran, and RBI kept rates unchanges in-line with market expectations. IN/

OVERNIGHT INDEX SWAPS:

The one-year overnight index swap rate INR1YMIBROIS=CC was down 28 basis points at 5.87%, while the five-year swap rate INR5YMIBROIS=CC dropped 29.25 bps to 6.3650%.

CALL MONEY:

India's overnight call money rate INROND= was at about 4.80% and the overnight TREPS rate INTREPTOT=TCCL was at 4.85%.
