Gold, silver miners gain as metal prices edge higher after two-session rout

U.S.-listed shares of gold and silver miners gain premarket, tracking rising prices of the metals GOL/

Spot gold XAU= up 6% at $4,944.58/ounce, after hitting low of $4,403.24/ounce on Monday - two sessions after touching $5,594.82/ounce

Spot silver XAG= up 9.2% at $86.47/ounce, after falling 27% to record its biggest one-day loss on Friday; it dropped another 6% on Monday

Top miners Newmont NEM.N and Barrick Mining ABX.TO, B.N up 5% and 4.8%, respectively

South African miners Gold Fields GFI.N up 2.9% and AngloGold Ashanti AU.N adds 4%; Harmony Gold HMY.N gains 4.3% and Sibanye Stillwater SBSW.N rise ~3%

Silver miners Hecla Mining HL.N up 8.4% and Coeur Mining CDE.N rise 8.2%

Canadian miners Endeavour Silver EDR.TO, EXK.N rise 9%, Silvercorp Metals SVM.TO, SVM.N up 8.4%, Agnico Eagle Mines AEM.TO, AEM.N adds 5.4% and Kinross Gold K.TO, KGC.N gains ~6%
