CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher on US-China trade optimism

June 5 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened higher on Thursday, mirroring Wall Street peers, as U.S.-China talks boosted trade deal optimism and investors awaited key job data.

At 9:32 a.m. ET (1331 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 0.3% at 26,415.03 points.
