- Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening lower on Wednesday, with futures FFIc1 down 0.05%.

BP: Woodside Energy WDS.AX said it had signed a supply deal under which BP BP.L would supply natural gas to its Louisiana liquefied natural gas (LNG) project.

BURBERRY: Burberry BRBY.L is evaluating potential candidates for a chairman, Sky News reported.

PRUDENTIAL: Prudential PRU.L reported a 12% rise in new business profit for the first quarter.

M&S: Marks & Spencer MKS.L said some stores have been left short of some food items as it continues to grapple with a "cyber incident".

HISCOX: Hiscox HSX.L has appointed Nick Sinkus as chief underwriting officer for the U.S.

ECONOMY : British business sentiment fell to its lowest level in three months, industry surveys by Lloyds Bank and the Confederation of British Industry showed .
