M-tron rises on $12 million aircraft component contract

Shares of communication devices maker M-tron Industries MPTI.A rise 3.4% to $48

Co says it has been awarded a $12 million production contract from a major supplier to Boeing BA.N and Airbus AIR.PA

Contract is for over 45 different electronic components, including filters and oscillators, to be used in aircraft

Contract will support the production of Boeing and Airbus aircraft until at least 2030

Co will produce the components at facilities in the U.S. and India, with work continuing until mid-2028
