
Feb 4 (Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes were subdued at the open on Tuesday as investor appetite for risk waned after China retaliated against new trade restrictions announced by U.S. President Donald Trump with counter tariffs.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI rose 47.5 points, or 0.11%, at the open to 44469.46. The S&P 500 .SPX rose 3.6 points, or 0.06%, at the open to 5998.14, while the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC rose 30.2 points, or 0.16%, to 19422.171 at the opening bell.
