Shares of chemical company Eastman Chemical EMN.N up 8.60% at $100.64, their highest level since Dec. 6
On Thursday after markets closed, co reported Q4 adj EPS of $1.87, above analysts' estimates of $1.57, according to data compiled by LSEG
"Eastman will generate profit growth over the next several years as the company's specialty plastics are used in more consumer durable goods," says investment research firm Morningstar
Co forecasts 2025 EPS to be between $8.00-$8.75 vs analysts' estimates of $8.47
EMN stock gained ~1.67% in 2024
