
Investing.com – Morocco equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Pharmaceutical Industry and Chemicals sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares rose 0.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Alliances (CSE:ADI), which rose 6.56% or 20.00 points to trade at 325.00 at the close. Involys (CSE:INV) added 5.25% or 4.99 points to end at 100.00 and Delta Holding S.A (CSE:DHO) was up 4.65% or 2.44 points to 54.96 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Label Vie (CSE:LBV), which lost 3.41% or 150.00 points to trade at 4,250.00 in late trade. Jet Contractors (CSE:JET) declined 3.04% or 44.00 points to end at 1,401.00 and IB Maroc Com SA (CSE:IBC) shed 2.94% or 1.09 points to 36.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 26 to 20 and 4 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.69% or 1.21 to $70.53 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.64% or 1.25 to hit $74.79 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.05% or 29.00 to trade at $2,730.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.37% to 10.68, while USD/MAD unchanged 0.00% to 9.90.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 104.25.
