SINGAPORE, April 9 (Reuters) - Ares Management ARES.N, a U.S-based investment firm, has appointed EG Morse as partner and head of Asia credit, according to a statement on Thursday.
Morse, who most recently served as co-head of China and head of China global markets at Goldman Sachs GS.N, will be based in Hong Kong and lead the long-term growth of Ares' Asia credit business.
Ares also said Dinesh Goel and Gabriel Fong were appointed co-heads of its Asia special situations strategy, effective immediately.
The firm said Edwin Wong, its head of Asia credit, will retire on June 30.
Ares said its Asia credit business had about $11.5 billion in assets under management, as of December 31.
Ares' global platform had nearly $623 billion in assets under management at the end of 2025.
