REFILE-South Korea, US airforces to fly new generation aircraft in combined drills this month

SEOUL, April 9 (Reuters) - The South Korean and U.S. airforces will conduct a major exercise from April 10 to 24, deploying a range of fighter jets, early warning reconnaissance aircraft, an aerial tanker, and unmanned surveillance and attack aerial vehicles, South Korea said on Thursday.

The drills will test defence readiness under an evolving environment in modern warfare with new generation aircraft, South Korea's airforce said.
