CORRECTED-Bahamian police arrest husband after wife's disappearance

WASHINGTON, April 8 (Reuters) - Bahamian Assistant Commissioner of Police Advardo Dames told Reuters on Wednesday that authorities in the Caribbean nation have arrested a Michigan man whose wife went missing at sea over the weekend.

Brian Hooker's arrest comes as the U.S. Coast Guard launches a criminal investigation into the case after the disappearance of his 55-year-old wife, Lynette, according to a U.S. official.
