April 8 (Reuters) - Property investment company Unica Capital said on Wednesday it had bought the Gstaad property site Promenade 23, which is currently under long-term lease to fashion company Ralph Lauren RL.N, for an undisclosed amount.
Unica Capital is a specialist real estate investment and development company with offices in London, Switzerland, Luxembourg and the Czech Republic.
Promenade 23 was originally built in 1908 and then re-opened in 2009 as a retail outlet.
Upmarket Swiss skiing resorts, such as Gstaad and St Moritz, have typically been favoured destinations for the world's wealthy, making them attractive property assets for banks and investors.
A report last month by EY said Swiss property remained a top pick for investors, amid broader geopolitical uncertainty.
