BEIJING, April 6 (Reuters) - China has issued guidance for promoting its e-commerce sector that aims to balance domestic development with the international situation, its commerce ministry said in a joint statement with other departments.
The guidance called for striking a balance between promotion and regulation, integrating the digital and real economies, as well as forming pilot zones for cross-border e-commerce activities and setting up rules and standards.
The guidance was jointly from the cyberspace and market regulators as well as the ministries of industry, agriculture and tourism.
