TOKYO, April 2 (Reuters) - Japan hopes for stable ties between the United States and Europe, the country's top government spokesperson said on Thursday following U.S. President Donald Trump's remarks that he was considering pulling the U.S. out of NATO.
"Our country expects stable ties between the United States and Europe. We will keep watching related development closely with great interest, and respond appropriately," Chief Cabinet Secretary Minoru Kihara told a regular news conference.
