Pandora opens distribution centre in Canada to reduce US tariff impact

ReutersMar 31, 2026 7:41 AM

- Danish jewellery maker Pandora PNDORA.CO said on Tuesday it was opening a distribution centre in Ontario, Canada to reduce the company's exposure to U.S. tariffs.

The warehouse in Mississauga will enable the brand to process Canadian online orders, which were previously handled by U.S. distribution centres meaning the jewellery had to pass through U.S. customs.

Pandora, known for charm bracelets, makes all its jewellery at two factories in Thailand and has been bruised by U.S. President Donald Trump raising the import tariffs on the country.

Pandora has said it expects U.S. tariffs to take 1.5 percentage points off its operating margin in 2026.

Canada is one of Pandora's fastest-growing markets, the company said in a statement, and the distribution centre - operated by GXO Logistics - will speed up deliveries to the country.
