MOSCOW, March 26 (Reuters) - A visit of Russian lawmakers to the U.S. is part of a "very necessary dialogue", the Kremlin said on Thursday.
A delegation of Russian lawmakers has arrived in the United States for meetings with U.S. lawmakers, Russian media said, on the first such trip since relations between the world's two biggest nuclear powers hit rock bottom over the war in Ukraine.
Moscow hopes such first steps will improve communication in the interest of both countries, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
