EU says U.S. has given assurances on sticking to trade deal

BRUSSELS, March 26 (Reuters) - European Economic Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis said on Thursday the European Union has received assurances from the United States that the Trump administration intends to honour it side of the EU-U.S. trade deal struck in July last year.
