WASHINGTON, March 18 (Reuters) - U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard on Wednesday asserted that it is not the responsibility of U.S. spy agencies to determine "what is and is not an imminent threat" to the United States.
The top U.S. spy made the comment when asked if the U.S. intelligence community had assessed before the U.S.-Israeli attacks on Iran that Tehran posed an imminent nuclear threat as a White House statement had asserted.
