Drones, rockets attack US embassy in Baghdad, security sources say

BAGHDAD, March 17 (Reuters) - A wave of drone and rocket attacks targeted the U.S. embassy in Baghdad early on Tuesday, Iraqi security sources said, describing it as the most intense assault since the attacks began, with at least five drones used.

A powerful explosion was heard in the Iraqi capital, a Reuters witness reported on Tuesday.
