BERLIN, March 12 (Reuters) - Germany has ramped up security in and around Israeli, Jewish and U.S. institutions since the two countries started their war on Iran last month, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said on Thursday.
"At present, there is no evidence to suggest that we should assume an increased threat domestically," Merz said in a speech in Wiesbaden.
"However, we are stepping up security measures, reviewing protective measures and increasing our presence – particularly for Israeli, Jewish and American institutions," he added.
