
March 11 (Reuters) - A sale of drilling rights in the Gulf of Mexico ended with $46.98 million in high bids from oil and gas companies, officials with the U.S. Bureau of Ocean Energy Management said on Wednesday.
Winning bidders included BP BP.L, Chevron CVX.N, Shell SHEL.L and Anadarko. The bids were read via livestream on BOEM's website.
