BERLIN, March 11 (Reuters) - Germany's Rheinmetall RHMG.DE is in talks with U.S.-based Lockheed Martin LMT.N as well as other European companies about air defence capacities, said CEO Armin Papperger.
"There is a huge need from Lockheed, and there is a huge need from us," he told analysts on Wednesday after publishing Rheinmetall's 2025 results.
"What we do at the moment is not only to speak with Lockheed, but also with other companies, also European companies, to build up the capacities, because the capacities are there," he added.
